Client Policies and Service Agreement

Financial Terms

• Booking Deposit: A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure your date and time. This must be received no later than seven days prior to the scheduled session.

• Final Payment: The remaining 50% balance is due on the day of the photoshoot.

• Accepted Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or physical cheque.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellation Policy: Clients may cancel their session and receive a full refund of their deposit if written notice is provided at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within less than 72 hours will forfeit the deposit.

• Weather-Related Rescheduling: For outdoor sessions, rescheduling due to inclement weather or unforeseen environmental events is permitted within the 72-hour window at the photographer’s discretion.

• Rescheduling Fees: * The first request to reschedule a session is granted without penalty.

  • Any subsequent rescheduling requests will incur a $50 administrative fee to compensate for the reserved time on the studio calendar.

Session Conduct and Punctuality

• Arrival: Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled session.

• Late Arrival: If a client is 30 minutes late or more, the photographer reserves the right to deduct that time from the total session duration without a reduction in fee. Alternatively, if the photographer's schedule allows for an extension, a late fee will be applied to the final invoice for the additional time required.

Image Delivery and Post-Production

• Deliverables: The specific number of final, edited images will be determined and agreed upon during the booking process.

• Delivery Method: Final high-resolution images will be delivered digitally via WeTransfer or Google Drive.

• Turnaround Time: The standard delivery window is 14 days from the date of the session.

• Teaser Images: 1–2 "teaser" images will be provided to the client within 24 to 48 hours of the shoot.

• RAW Files: RAW or unedited files represent an unfinished product and are not distributed to clients under any circumstances.

• Additional Editing: The final gallery includes the photographer's professional edit. Requests for re-editing or extensive retouching beyond the original scope will be subject to additional per-image service fees.

Usage and Copyright

• Portfolio and Promotion: The photographer retains the copyright to all images and reserves the right to use the photographs for professional portfolios, social media, and marketing purposes. Clients who wish to opt out of public sharing must discuss a privacy agreement with the photographer prior to the session.

• Personal Use: Clients are granted a license for personal use of the images, including printing and social media sharing. Commercial licensing must be negotiated separately.
